Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Shift Lead to join the team at Jack's Grill/Fat Tomato Pizza Company. As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign tasks to kitchen staff based on the positioning chart.
• Manage the flow of orders in the kitchen to optimize efficiency and ticket times.
• Maintain adequate prep levels to prevent ingredient shortages.
• Delegate prep and cleaning tasks to team members as necessary.
• Oversee proper plating of dishes to ensure quality presentation.
• Monitor break schedules to ensure timely breaks for staff.
• Support Shift Lead/General Manager in fostering team morale.
• Adhere to safety procedures and protocols at all times.
• Ensure completion of all checklists and prep lists.
