Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a Staff Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide psychological services to patients in various clinical settings, conduct diagnostic evaluations, offer psychological interventions, provide staff consultation, clinical supervision, and contribute to program development and oversight. Additionally, you will participate in organizational initiatives, program evaluation, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological services in inpatient psychiatric, medical-surgical, or rehabilitation units, outpatient programs, emergency department, and clinics.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations, clinical assessments, psychological interventions, staff consultation, and supervision.
  • Participate in program development, program evaluation, and multidisciplinary initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Cancer Center providers, offer psychotherapy, and support patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from APA or CPA accredited program.
  • Valid Psychologist-PhD license.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology.
  • Experience in individual, family, and group psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and staff consultation.
