staff - Registered Nurse (RN) - Stroke - $32-52 per hour

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Stroke care to join Advocate Aurora Health in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As an RN on the Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive patient care for individuals with neurological impairments, strokes, and other conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, create individualized care plans, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and discharge processes.
• Promote patient safety, collaborate with healthcare team members, and ensure quality care.
• Participate in professional development activities for personal and team growth.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license in the practicing state and BLS certification.
• Completion of accredited Nursing program with at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Proficient in holistic patient care, critical decision-making, and communication.
• Demonstrated ability for time management, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, stand, walk, and perform necessary caregiving tasks.
• Capacity to operate medical equipment and maintain patient safety.
• Adherence to protective measures for hazardous materials and patient conditions.
