Job Description
Join the ALDI team as a Store Associate and play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean store environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company procedures and policies while ensuring data security
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent customer service skills
- Efficient cash handling abilities
- Operational knowledge of equipment
- Ability to interpret and follow company guidelines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
