Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $16.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures
- Follow company policies, maintain store security, and assist with other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and follow company procedures
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is beneficial
