Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's upkeep and providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to create a positive shopping experience for our customers by stocking shelves, cashiering, and maintaining a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures with a focus on security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Safely use equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
