Job Description
We are looking for a Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. Working collaboratively with our team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers by providing exceptional service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Monitor inventory and provide feedback on products
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or above
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
