Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a vital member of our retail operation, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
  • Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and follow company procedures
  • Comply with all company policies and maintain document security
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
  • Capable of meeting physical demands of the job
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Prior retail work experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
