Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store operates efficiently and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain attractive merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document and data security
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of meeting physical demands of the job
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Prior retail experience preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail environment experience advantageous
