Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assistance to shoppers.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies.
  • Follow company procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality standards.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and retail equipment.
  • Experience with general cleaning tasks and adherence to company policies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and capability to multi-task effectively.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations related to retail sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
