Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include processing customer purchases, stocking shelves, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases and maintain a clean store environment.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe operation of equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
