Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Operate cash register following cash policies to minimize losses.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient and accurate cash register operation.
  • Safe and proper equipment operation including hand jack, floor scrubber, and baler.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
