Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly while providing exceptional customer service. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean store environment. Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively with the management team are essential aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with the team and management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues
• Take part in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
• Follow company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
