Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team, demonstrate excellent customer service, and contribute to the overall efficiency of store operations.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company procedures, maintain document security, and perform assigned tasks

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficient in cash register operations and equipment handling
• Capable of meeting physical demands and interpreting company policies
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail experience preferred
