Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in company Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Comply with cash handling policies and established procedures.
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
- Aptitude for using equipment like floor scrubbers and manual jacks.
- Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Compliance with state and local regulations regarding alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
