Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in company Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Comply with cash handling policies and established procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
  • Aptitude for using equipment like floor scrubbers and manual jacks.
  • Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations regarding alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
