Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, aiding in customer shopping experiences, and collaborating with the ALDI team. This full-time position offers 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise displays are neat
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and cooperate during store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold document security and confidentiality
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team setting
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
- Prior retail work experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
