Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in your daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure a positive experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide feedback to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide excellent customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks and following instructions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• High school diploma preferred; prior retail experience is a plus.
