Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join ALDI's team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations, including merchandising, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service. Your efforts will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M. A. P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Proper operation of store equipment
• Understanding and application of company policies
• Strong communication skills
• Capability to work independently and within a team
• Organizational skills with attention to detail

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
