Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and ensure professional skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers in their experience.
- Collaborate with team members and report to store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company procedures, policies, and security protocols.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Follow cleaning standards, company policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork.
- Stay organized, attentive to detail, and multitask effectively.
- Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Retail experience advantageous.
- A blend of education and experience is welcome.
