Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a key member of the store operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with team members, assist customers, and contribute to maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, supporting customers in their shopping experience.
- Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Assist in inventory management and participate in regular inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize any cash-related losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain the store's standards.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience in retail is preferred.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
- Skilled in using store equipment and following safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
