Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and supporting the ALDI team. This is a Full-Time position with 32-40 hours per week, starting at $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any store issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and adhere to company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to maintain cleanliness and follow company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol handling (if applicable).

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
