Store Team Member

Job Description

We are hiring a Store Team Member to join our dynamic ALDI team. As a team member, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service. Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the store remains organized, clean, and welcoming for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills to maintain high standards.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves neatly, and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide feedback to the management team.
• Participate in inventory counts, adhere to cash policies, and follow established procedures.
• Perform physical tasks including stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and ensuring the store is well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks.
• Work well in a team environment, follow company policies, and pay attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior retail experience is a plus.
