Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the ALDI team, providing outstanding customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize shelves
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
- Capability to follow cleaning standards and company policies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Meet state and local regulations for alcohol handling and sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- A mix of education and experience is acceptable
