Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Safely handle equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Work independently and as part of a team
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
