Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Your exceptional customer service skills will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. guidelines consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring document security and data confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and various equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Adherence to state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience is considered.
