Store Team Member

Job Description

We are hiring for the position of Store Team Member at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, operating the cash register, and collaborating with the team to provide exceptional service. This full-time role offers an average of 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of interpreting and applying company policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior work experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
