Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members, you will create a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise neatly
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
