Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, stocking, and providing exceptional customer service.
Position Type
- Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays
- Assist customers and collaborate effectively with team members
- Provide feedback to management and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and security standards
Physical Demands
- Stock merchandise, sit, stand, bend, lift weights up to 45 pounds, and perform cleaning duties
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
- Ability to operate equipment and follow company policies
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
