Job Description

Join our team as a Store Team Member at ALDI! In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers. Collaboration with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service are key aspects of this position.

Salary

• $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
• Follow company policies while ensuring the security and confidentiality of data
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• General cleaning abilities to maintain store standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
• Meet all necessary state and local requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
