Job Description

Join ALDI as a Store Team Member and play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a Store Team Member, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. Collaboration with the ALDI team is key as you provide exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide top-notch customer service and collaborate effectively with team members
• Give feedback to management on products and store inventory
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain store security
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
