Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Starting Wage

$18.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
• Adhere to all company policies and ensure security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds
• Various physical activities including sitting, standing, bending, and lifting

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate cash register and store equipment efficiently
• Work independently and within a team environment
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior retail work experience preferred
