Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides excellent customer service. From merchandising to cashiering, you will contribute to an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Execute tasks while upholding ALDI's core competencies and professional skills.
- Stock shelves, manage product displays, and maintain cleanliness in the store.
- Offer outstanding customer service and assist shoppers in their experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and various store equipment.
- Adhere to cleaning standards, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
