Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a vital part of our store team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security measures
• Perform general cleaning duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash register operation
• Experience with retail equipment and cleaning standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• High attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience equivalent
