Responsibilities
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
- Prepare, package, weigh, and price products for sale.
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cases and shelves.
- Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Report safety hazards and violations promptly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- No prior retail experience required.
Skills & Abilities
- Basic knowledge of department products.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Passion for natural foods and Whole Foods Market mission.
- Strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Standing/walking up to 8 hours.
- Various physical motions required.
- Exposure to cold environments and cleaning chemicals.
The wage range for this position is $16.00 - $24.40 USD Hourly. New entry-level Team Members may be eligible for a base rate increase after the first 90 days.
