Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Surgical Services Liaison to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As our Surgical Services Liaison, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations in the Surgical Services department.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in instrument tracking software programs.
• Act as a primary contact for Physicians, Operating Room, and Sterile Processing Department staff to address any concerns related to surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and implement improvements to instrument sets, naming conventions, count sheets, and instrument marking practices.
• Oversee the availability of pre-cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization supplies in all Operating Rooms.
• Manage sterile storage par levels for instruments and promptly communicate requirements to key team members.
• Participate in onboarding new hires through cross-training activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Sterile Processing Tech or Surgical Tech.
• Hold a recognized certification such as CRCST, CSPDT, or CST.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
