Tradesman Plumber

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tradesman Plumber to join our Service Experts HVAC and Plumbing team at Stark - Service Experts. As a Plumber Level I, you will be responsible for a wide range of plumbing duties, including installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan plumbing system layouts and installations.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to discuss project requirements and timelines.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Test and troubleshoot plumbing systems, ensuring adherence to codes and safety standards.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior plumbers and helpers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program preferred.
• Proven experience as a Plumber Helper or Apprentice.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid plumbing license/certification and driver's license preferred.

Working Conditions

• Physical labor in confined spaces, heights, indoors, or outdoors based on projects.
• Exposure to various weather conditions and sometimes hazardous environments or materials.
• Flexibility for evening, weekend, and on-call shifts as required.
