Job Description
Join Boeing, a leader in aerospace innovation, as a Virtualization Software Developer (Experienced/Senior) - Virtual. In this role, you will work with the virtualization engineering team in Berkeley, MO, developing and supporting virtual machines for aerospace design and development purposes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software architectures, requirements, and designs
- Integrate software components into fully functional systems
- Create software verification plans and test procedures
- Manage software projects and suppliers
- Research and develop software solutions
- Act as a subject matter expert for software domains
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of C and C++ coding experience
- Experience in Windows, Linux, and real-time operating systems
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash
- Ability to work across hardware-software boundaries
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of related work experience
- Exposure to Agile development and microprocessor architectures
- Familiarity with Virtualization technologies and Cloud Computing
