Hornblower - City Experiences is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Wedding & Event Coordinator to join our team in Washington, DC. As part of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of events, providing exceptional customer service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cruise events with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Act as the liaison between the company and special order vendors
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of product offerings and pricing
- Communicate with customers to finalize event details
- Upsell additional event packages to customers
- Ensure accurate communication of product details to relevant departments
- Document customer interactions and maintain sales database
- Attend and participate in meetings as required
- Assist with part-time sales projects
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service and industry experience
- Effective communication skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
