Wedding & Event Coordinator at Hornblower - City Experiences

Hornblower - City Experiences is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Wedding & Event Coordinator to join our team in Washington, DC. As part of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of events, providing exceptional customer service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate cruise events with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Act as the liaison between the company and special order vendors
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of product offerings and pricing
  • Communicate with customers to finalize event details
  • Upsell additional event packages to customers
  • Ensure accurate communication of product details to relevant departments
  • Document customer interactions and maintain sales database
  • Attend and participate in meetings as required
  • Assist with part-time sales projects
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service and industry experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
